Juno led project development on this landowner led solar and storage project in Hampshire.
With capacity of 49.9MW + 20MW Battery Storage, the site is at a very sensitive location adjacent to the South Downs National Park and hence the design process was landscape led at each stage. A comprehensive consultation further incorporated mitigations suggested by stakeholders which ultimately resulted in the project being granted planning in early 2023.
Juno delivered a 132KV grid connection application and represented the landowner in negotiations with the DNO for this project and associated network reinforcement works.
This project is a good example of the working partnership between the landowners and project developer to maximise value and ensure sympathetically designed project
